Our President, Lou Jones has
over 30
years experience in the sound and video contracting industry; working initially
as an installer and eventually moving on to develop and manage the sound
contracting division of a large regional music retail operation. In 1993, along with three partners, he
founded NBS Media Systems and began to develop the vision for building our
company.
Our scope of work includes large and small church
sound, audio/visual and lighting design and installation as well as “large
area” installation, such as coliseums, stadiums, performing arts theaters,
auditoriums and sporting venues of all types.
We are also very active in the educational community,
providing sound systems, public address systems, video conferencing systems,
video information and retrieval systems and other related services.
Finally, we also do home theater design and
installation and commercial/retail work, providing design/build services for
hotels, restaurants and retail stores, as well as working with larger national
companies as a sub-contractor, providing installation and service work for
clients throughout the Carolina’s, Georgia and as far away as New York and New
Jersey.
Because we have a live production division, which has
been involved in regional sound and lighting production market for the past 15
years working with clients like The Spoleto Arts Festival, The Moja Arts
Festival, The Taste Of Charleston, Gospelfest, The Oyster Festival, The Cooper
River Bridge Run, The Charleston Symphony and the Augusta Symphony, we have
constant access to all types of equipment.
This provides us with the ability to meet any urgent needs our clients
are likely to experience.
